Some information about
(1) Salary/fee & other financial payments (including air fare, TA, etc) paid by the Central government & its agencies to the Attorney General, Solicitor’s General & Additional/Assistant Solicitor’s General (hereinafter referred to as AG/SG/ASG’s) across India alongwith break-up payments for each case from 2009 to 2012.

(2) Salary/fee & other financial payments (including air fare, TA, etc) paid by the Central government & its agencies to senior counsel engaged by them for conducting cases in Madras High Court & Supreme Court of India, alongwith break-up payments for each case from 2009 to 2012. - Regarding.


INFORMATION SOUGHT.

1. Kindly inform or supply copy of the modes of fee prescribed/adopted by the Government of India for payment of salary/fees to the AG/SG/ASG’s for their professional services, and which GO/circular/etc provides-for such payments. Provide a certified copy of such GO/circular.

2. Provide the break-up of fees/salary & other financial payments (including air fare, TA, etc) paid by the Central government to the AG/SG/ASG’s, and senior advocates engaged by the government & its agencies for payments made to advocates from outside Tamilnadu for conducting cases in Madras High Court & Supreme Court, alongwith break-up payments for each case. The details shall cover the period from 2009 to 2012.

3. Provide the details of all complaints of financial impropriety made against the AG/SG/ASG’s, alongwith details of the action taken thereupon, and the result of such complaints, alongwith a certified copy of the entire records relating to the complaint & its related files.

I enclosed postal order no. 99E 878254 Rs.10/- towards RTI fee.
